Many thanks to the team for releasing Word for Mac 15.20 with right-to-left capability. As some have noted, you need to select Hebrew (or Arabic) as a system language in Mac system preferences for this to work. Sublime text 3 full version. However, I have found two problems:
- Word for Mac R2L only works with a Hebrew keyboard that is part of the pre-installed system from Apple, such as 'Hebrew–QWERTY'. There are other Hebrew keyboards out there. For example, one that is popular in biblical studies is called 'Hebrew Keyboard-SIL,' and it does not work properly with Word for Mac (it works properly with Word for Windows).
- Some Hebrew fonts do not display properly. The font 'SBL Hebrew' is popular in biblical studies, but diacriticals do not position correctly in Word. Other fonts are fine in Word for Mac, such as the Hebrew capability built into Times New Roman, Arial, and so forth.
Hebrew On A Mac For Davka Text Generator
Note that these problems are unique to Word for Mac. App for mac to text on android. Other Mac programs that do Hebrew (such as Apple Pages) work fine with the 'Hebrew Keyboard-SIL' and fonts such as 'SBL Hebrew.' I realize this is the first release of R2L in Office for Mac. I hope improvements will be made to address the above issues.
